i just found a i pod touch at the mall in San Marco's this weekend do i need a CD to download music and videos like a old i pod or is pretty worthless and am i stuck with there music that's on there already???? p.s lt was closing time and the only choice is keep it or give to the security to turn it to the lost and found  (yea right)

Just download Itunes and you will have to create a new name for it on your computer that will wipe out it's database. In order to put new music on it, it's going to erase all the current music. Let me know if you want to sell it.

Dont know if its an issue but if its already registered with i-tunes mine is when i set it up it took the SN.

if the ipod is registered then i think you cant use it. my ipod is set so that my code is the only thing that can access my music and videos

it doesn't matter if it's registered it can be used and unlocking the itouch isn't difficult

i think they call that jailbreak where they can do it to the i phone and i touch I'm just not in to i pods cell phones as long as i can hear when it rings I'm good
